Wedding Pics are Here!
You can't really see a lot of makeup detail in these shots, but thought I'd share anyways. See my
previous post for the products I used. If you think our makeup looks good, you should have seen the bride. I miss my friends!

Wedding Look #2
I am fresh from Puerto Vallarta, but wanted to post the second look that I put together (and unltimately ended up going with) for the wedding.
I am going through serious beach withdrawals, but am happy to be back in the Bay Area's beautiful mild weather. It was HOT & HUMID in Mexico. These beauties held up pretty well in the thick Puerto Vallartan air (MAC lipstick in California Dreamin, MAC Paint in Architechture to sculpt cheeks, Laura Mercier creme eyeshadow in Bronze, MAC Painpots in Quite Natural, Stila all over shimmer #2, Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes, Givenchy Gloss Interdit in Glamorous Fuscia):
I went with Fuscia lips because I thought they would show up better in picutres. I was right! Here is my headshot from the trial run (that's my cutie puppy Domino). Will post pictures from the wedding as soon as I can upload them.

Wedding Look #1
So I'm off to Puerto Vallarta in a couple of days! I'm going to be the maid of honor in my friend's wedding. She's asked that all the girls use neutral brown eyeshadow and pair that with soft pink cheeks & lips. Sounds easy enough!
I have a few days to experiment with formulas to find the ones I like the best and that last the longest -- Puerto Vallarta is going to be hotter than a mother!
Here's practice look #1: Too Faced Lockdown (Bedroom Eyes), MAC Paint Pot (Quite Natural), Stila Shine Lip Color (Diane), Vincent Longo Pearlessence Lip/Cheek Gel Stain (Dolceacqua). These are all supposed to be super stay-put formulas. Let's see how they hold up. Here's how they look:
Here's how they look on me (I think I look worried because I'm thinking of ALL the things I need to do before taking off!):

Photo cred:
evolutionofsmooth.comThis is a cool shape for a lip balm. I wonder if they work well ... would be a unique stocking-stuffer. (Yes, I've already started shopping for gifts!)
