Blush My Blues Away
I've gotten a few compliments on my blush today - so it was super easy to pick today's topic. I'm wearing
Cargo Plant Love Blush in Peony. It's part of the Sephora Naturally Gorgeous kit that I talked about in my last post.
I'm sort of going through a rough patch at work, but my MO has always been look good, feel good. So, shallow as it seems, I put my best face forward with shimmery, apricot dusted cheeks. And it's actually making a difference!

Napa Day
Just spent the entire day in Napa with my boyfriend celebrating our 11 year anniversary. I love knowing I'm 30 mins away from a place that feels a world away from home. We ate at
Bouchon, enjoyed some wine tasting at
Merryvale Vineyards and shopped it up at the
Napa Premium Outlets.
I made out like a bandit at The Cosmetics Company Store. Check out the goods:
Picked up a pair of
MAC 7 lashes ($8.50 vs. $13 full price!) and
Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow in Galaxy ($15.50 vs. $22 retail).
I got dolled up with almost all the products in
Sephora's Naturally Gorgeous kit (I am pretty loyal to that kit right now). You can't really see the result of all that great product, but here's a picture of me & the mister:

Down Here in Hell (With Van Hunt)
I got to sport my absolute FAVORITE pair of falsies last night at the
Van Hunt show at Yoshi's Oakland. The show was so fun & funky ... loved every second of it, especially when he did "Down Here in Hell (With You)." Speaking of absolute FAVES, if you haven't heard that song download it immediately. You'll feel 100x's sexier as soon as the bassline hits.
Anywho, check out why I love these
MAC "Blinking Cool" beauties. They look like the lashes I wish I was blessed with:

My Name is EBoogie & I'm a Makeup Addict ...
so I'm starting a blog about it. I'm fascinated by all aspects of it - packaging, wearability, psychology...
My first foray into makeup was with the dark brown shade of lipstick that was criminally popular in the '90s. I was the only one in my circle of friends who hadn't tried lipstick yet, and the girls were eager to convert me. I went out to see a movie with them, and we decided to take pictures in a photobooth ... bare lips weren't allowed in the photobooth. My friend Nicole hastily pulled out her Choco liner from
Prestige Cosmetics and filled in my lips, just in time to catch the first flash bulb.
I wish I saved those first pictures of me and my ridiculous sausage lips. I'd never felt so cool or confident.
