Lip Butter-ed
Butter makes
everything better. And Revlon proves that lips are no exception to this rule. I know there are about a gagillion posts on their
Colorburst Lip Butters,
but these shabby-chic works of art deserve all the attention they get.
They're moisturizing, smoothing and full of color. Plus, I'd be amiss if I claimed to be a lip product addict without reviewing these. I have four
already, but wouldn't think twice about going back for more.
Here are a few lip swatches of the four colors I have. First up is a nice nude, Creme Brulee.
Next is my absolute favorite - a bright red-orange, Tutti Fruti. This gal gets 2 swatches.
I like this pink, too. Sweet Tart.
Last but not least, a very pale lip color called Creamsicle.
Here's a class picture of the packaging, in the order presented above (L-R): Creme Brulee, Tutti Fruti, Sweet Tart, Creamsicle. Go A's! ;)

Feeling Pinkie
I think pink gloss is an essential tool for prettying up lips in the summertime. We've been experiencing an early onslaught of hot-hot-hot weather in Northern California (it's projected to be in the 90's tomorrow!), so I've been busting out all the pinks in my stash. Holding auditions for my go-to pink of the season!
Below are a few shots of one of my favorites - InFATuation in "La Lip Jolie." It's part of the now discontinued Fusion Beauty line, but you can still find it on
Beauty.com.
